How To Use Our Small Business Resource Chart

Filtering

You can filter the table by any category or by multiple categories. For example, you are a Small Business looking for assistance with Education. Use the down arrows next to the column titles to “Filter by this field”.

When the box pops up, make sure to change the first dropdown box to “Area of Assistance”, then second dropdown box to “has any of”, and the third dropdown box to the category you are looking for. You can add as many conditions to this filter as needed. For example, you can filter out business stages that do not pertain to your business.

Grouping

This feature allows you to see records grouped together based on one (or more) fields of your choosing. For example, you want to look at all the resource options for only Non-Profits, you would go to “Group By” and select “Business Type”. This will automatically group all resources per type of business, making it easy to see the Non-Profit options.

Sorting

Sorting records makes them appear in a particular order according to the values in specific fields. For example, you want to see a specific business type in a specific area, so you would select “Business Type”, then add another sort and select “State/Region”.
