Meet the Team

Jessi Burg knows that community support is vital for successful business owners. She launched her first business, a landscaping company, by spending her evenings researching in the public library and enrolling in a business boot camp for low income entrepreneurs. As the business grew, she realized that while there were a lot of resources available for starting a business, there were a lot fewer for growing a business. 

With her current company, Outgrow Your Garage, Jessi is helping to fill that gap. By working with public institutions, local governments, non-profits, lending institutions and more, she is helping to create a more equitable economy and stronger communities in rural and urban areas.

Jessi lives in rural western Colorado and spends her free time working on her small farm with her spouse and dog. 

Taryn is the Executive Assistant at Outgrow Your Garage. She helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes while supporting the businesses we work with. Detail-oriented by nature, she brings structure to the chaos and makes day-to-day operations more manageable and intentional.

Outside of Outgrow Your Garage, she stays busy with hands-on projects, hiking in the mountains, and working behind the bar at a local brewery.

Mishelle is a Bilingual Workshop Facilitator for Outgrow Your Garage, committed to fostering community empowerment through education and entrepreneurship. She believes that these elements are essential for personal and collective transformation.

Outside of Outgrow Your Garage, Mishelle is a bodyworker and artist dedicated to personal growth and the healing arts, continuing to explore ways that these passions intersect to foster holistic empowerment and well-being.
